Safeguarding Aim

Deafinitely Theatre aims at all times to maintain best safeguarding practice throughout all our activities with children, young people, adults at risk, their parents, carers and/or families. We endeavour to provide a safe and friendly environment and celebrate all achievements. We will achieve this by adhering strictly to our Safeguarding policy, guidance and relevant risk assessments.

Duty of Care

Deafinitely Theatre recognises its legal and moral duty of care to ensure the protection of everyone we are engaging with, from unnecessary risk and/or harm. The legislation relevant to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is set out in the Children’s Act 1989 & 2004. It is valuable information that has influenced our Safeguarding policy and should be read alongside the statutory guidance, Working Together 2018.

Deafinitely Theatre holds current Public Liability Insurance which covers all activities and projects.
