Deafinitely Youth Theatre

Deafinitely Youth Theatre is an exciting opportunity for those aged 14-21 to take part in drama activities, meet other deaf young people and learn more about getting involved in theatre.

Founded in 2010, every year the programme is led by a deaf role-model and provides up to 20 young people with the opportunity to learn from professions and explore a theatre environment.

Deafinitely Youth Theatre alumni includes: Nadeem Islam, William Grint, Claire Wetherall and Olivier Award nominated actress, Rose Ayling-Ellis.

DYT Term

Our DYT term is from October to February and is formed of young people who want to learn more about drama and commit to a series of bi-weekly workshops and activities that build their acting and performance skills. At the end of the term you will take part in an intensive rehearsals week, ending in performing a production in a professional theatre open to the public.
