Deafinitely Theatre is hosting our next free event World Café: Signs of Survival, the date has been rescheduled out of respect of the Queen's funeral, the new date is Monday 17th October 2022, 10am — 4pm. The event will be facilitated by Improbable Theatre.

The event will be held in The Door at Birmingham Rep Theatre.

The address for the theatre is 6 Centenary Square, Birmingham B1 2EP.

This World Café event follows from our last show, Everyday, which explored true stories from survivors of domestic abuse in the deaf community. We want the World Café to continue the discussions that came from the show in a safe space where everyone can contribute.

The event will be dedicated to how we can continue to encourage conversations about domestic abuse, as well as, ways the deaf community can improve getting people to services they might need.

All discussions on the day will be in the relaxed and informal “café style”. There will be free tea and coffee available and you are encouraged to bring some cake or your favourite treat to enjoy whilst chatting!

World Café: Signs of Survival will be BSL interpreted and live captioned. Please let us know if you need captioning in your RSVP.
