Would you like to be a professional actor?

Do you want to develop new skills and gain knowledge of theatre?

Do you use BSL and live in London?

Then sign up for our Deafinitely Drama School which runs from 15th - 26th March 2010. This brand new two-week course is open to deaf and hearing people over 16 who live within Greater London. You will need to be at Level 2 BSL standard or above.

Students will take part in a series of workshops including:

  • translating scripts
  • physical theatre
  • using BSL on the stage
  • promoting yourself as an actor

These will be led by a mixture of skilled Deaf and hearing professionals. Students will then make use of their newly developed skills to create a public performance during the second week.

The course is FREE but a deposit of £50 will be required to secure your place. This will be refunded at the end of the course.

If you would like an application form or further details please contact the Project Manager Martin McLean.
